Can the rear subaru emblem be removed from 06 WRX/STI

I finally swapped boots over with an 06 WRX bootlid, however when we tried to take the rear subaru emblem off we noticed that it may be attached with two brass fittings. We didnt remove it just in case it goes right through.

Has anyone removed their badge to reveal wots behind??

yes, good question Tino, as i would like to take the subaru badge off the rear of my hatch.

from what i read on rexnet it will leave 2 holes if you take it off
