MMS usually keep them in stock.

STI nozzles are the best. They atomise the water in to a fine mist which is what works best in a water spray system. The finer the mist, the more likely to water will evapourate which is what draws much more heat out of the intercooler. The added benefit is that you actually use much less water with the fine spray over regular reticulation type fittings you get from Bunnings etc.

Good summary JMAX
BTW my old Bunnings yellow head "mist" nozzles are a fine mist, just ugly. I tried some industrial /professional quality brass mist nozzles from Spraying Systems Co. You can not beat these for a fine spray (amazingly fine!) having compared them to the STI nozzles, unfortunately they are a little too big and ugly for my liking.

Thanks for the link PMH...thems the suckers $22ea plus delivery

While we are looking at the NRG Website, anyone done this mod ?
Seems simple and cheap if you source parts yourself.
Its usually the left rear pax cylinder (No #4 piston/rings) that detonates ?

Head cooling kit

Cylinder head cooling kit modification allows the left hand cylinder head to flow more water back to the main header tank. Helps in dropping the temperature around the left hand cylinders and head chambers, which are more prone to piston failure due to extreme temperatures.

Sorry for the OT, but does anyone with an ic sprayer actually use distilled water like the manual says? Or am i the only one.. Some of my mates just use tap water? (Hi Dan & Jules)

tap water will work till your intercooler clogs up with the remaining crap left from it evaporating.

gawd tap water is poison.

the stuff that will potentially get stuck on the ic will be salts from the tap water. it will come off, just wash it off with water and a tooth brush
it will take a lot of crap to clog everybit of the ic
