I have received an invoice from Rally Armor and made payment through Paypal.

Hopefully the order doesnt get held up in customs for long and it will arrive within the fortnight.

Update!

Australia Post are holding the goods pending completion of customs formalities.
I will need to complete relevent documentation, send it in, then wait for customs to send me the bill before Auspost will release. I should be sending it tomorrow.

I'm a bit disappointed that Rally Armor completely ignored me asking them to lower the declared value...We could be up for a bit of tax here too fellas

20% probably 10 import duties and 10 GST.

Did they confirm they would mark down the value or you asked
and thought they would be kind enough to oblige?

Update guys.
After a bit of confusion as to what I had to do for customs to release the goods, all has been taken care of after a few emails back and forth.

GST and processing charges came to $278.65AUD. There was an extra $123.43 leftover from everyone's payments (shipping estimate excess and dollar exchange advantage), so it is really only $155.22 that I had to take from my own pocket. If everyone (15 participants including myself) can bring $10 when they pick up their mudflaps, that should square things out. I will provide copies of invoices etc for everyone on pick up, just for future use/reference.

If any extra holding charges have been incurred for holding by Australia Post or anything, I'll wear this cost myself, as if I had known what the procedure for clearance was sooner, I could've got them released sooner.


I will post another update and notify individual participants when I have received the items and they are ready for pickup etc. I think Powis St or something will be a fairly central location for everyone to pick up one weekend?

Mudflaps have been received and everything appears to be here. PM's have been sent to participants regarding pickup.

All participants will need to bring $10 with them for pickup to cover the import tax.


My first group buy, and I'm glad it all worked out, I just hope that everyone will be satisfied with the products
