Nice mate! They go hard and its good to see a few swimming around! The pro's have hammered them over the years

How far behind rotto? Are you into sambo's and stuff?? Few of them being taken lately. Not to mention a few yellowfin and spainards off two rocks area!

I caught some mac tuna that size about 6 weeks ago and we ended up trolling them on 37kg gear for marlin! Make great swimming baits!

yep that be me , went out today but swell was up over 3m so wasnt fun no birds hitting bait schools either , the other day matt had a few unstoppables through on 25kg braid and burnt drag washers on one reel and was thinking it may have been yellowtails , so next trip up to 60kg braid i go

Gotta love fishing mags and forums..

If your keen to hit the YFT, i know a few spots but off two rocks Perhaps they coulda been massive sambos?

ALthough 50lb braid generally breaks a fair whack over it :O

Are you home on thursday / friday? the only days off i have for a while

My guess is if it swamm at 101000klm per hour it would of been big tuna but my guess would be a big sambo or YT king fish.

could also been shark. Lots of bitey's around at the moment due to lots of bait fish around like big schools of herring etc
