There is a fine line here. Doing nothing simply engourages people to take
advantage of that fact: They know nothing will be done. As more and more people get away with more and more things, the general frustration on the road increases until someone goes postal. Fail to indicate, stealing bays, fail to merge correctly is to name a few. Take a stand. Let a tyre down, leave a nice note saying... "I noticed your tyre went flat. Perhaps if you didn't park here then it may have been ok". Gives you satisfaction, frustrates them, no lasting damage and sends a message down the line to the arrogant dick-heads out there: We are sick of it. Rant mode off.

This happened to me once when someone parked in a work bay that was reserved for me. I double parked them and took my time getting back to my car. Never saw him do it again after that.

Try putting diesel in their rear muffler, smokes like an absolute bastard when the car gets hot, priceless.
I used to do it to the bikies at works' Harleys in NZ for a bit of fun - they did have a sense of humour, they picked up my car with a forklift and put it on a steel skip...... Last edited by stinga; 20-02-2007 at 03:06 PM. |
