Buddy i got stuck at 96kg, got stuck at 86kg and now am stuck at 76kg. It seems for me its the 6's that get me the most. In about 4 months of proper physical exercise without changing my diet or lack of regard for drinking excessive amounts, i have lost and kept off 20kg. Down like 2 pant sizes, trust me, when you have to sew your pants together because you just spent $80 on them 3 weeks ago, its fairly annoying.

Just gotta push yourself through that barrier. I have done this all by myself. Noone else has really helped me. No personal trainer, nothing. Its about mental discipline rather then physical stamina.

Just keep going, 17kg is just a start. I have done sport all my life be it footy, soccer, baseball etc so running wasnt that much of an issue, but once you get used to it, its alright.

Thought you were looking quite a bit smaller in the pic of you at LC's.

Just a couple of things I can suggest are when your running, run on the grass not the pavement, burns the cals 30% more than on the hard stuff.

With the situps I used to get into a habit of doing 50, then 100 then 150 every night b4 going to sleep. Do em on your bed (if the missus lets ya, its quite a bit easier than the floor) with your hands in front of you face to start with then as you get better at em cross em over your chest and rest them on your shoulders. Then as ya get more core body strength jump on the floor. The best thing about doin em just b4 you go to sleep is that any excess energy you have floating about your body gets used up.

Eat more spicy food, cranks your metabolism.

Shuttle run is hard.

Goodluck.

Situps work the hip flexors more than abdominal muscles, that is why most do crunches these days.

Running on grass also has an additional benefit in that it is a lot less taxing on your joints (knees/ankles/etc). The pavement is the worst as it is cement, running on tarmac is kinder than running on cement.

The secret to shuttle run is not so much the outright speed but rather the technique in retrieving the blocks and changing direction.
