I got wind of alot of english people saying they will leave Perth if it went through. So I voted yes, and wanted to buy alot of cheap property in Mandurah....hahaha but alas it didnt go through.

Can't see WA ever getting DLS now, pitty we have so many old pricks who want WA to stay in the dark ages. I loved DLS for 2 reasons, I deal with the east for work and I enjoy working on my car, mowing the lawn, walking the dog etc. after work. If all my friends and family weren't here in Perth I would seriously think about leaving to go east.

This is not a personal thing and unlike yourself I didn't vote a 'Yes' vote for myself. I finish work at 13.30 every day so get hours of daylight to go play in, but if you ever have to deal with companies over east you will understand.

We aren't soley losing the v8s because of the track itself, mainly due to the fuckheads on the current WASCC committee.

What I find interesting is the overwhelming YES vote resulted from the poll on this thread.... WRX owners are certainly not representative of the WA community at large on this issue at least. FWIW I was a YES voter.

I'm not overly fussed about DLS, but all you staunch pro-DLS people use the same selfish, stupid fucking arguments as those against DLS.

"I don't like daylight savings because I want to do *insert activity here* in the morning" is the same as "I like daylight savings because I want to do *insert activity here* in the evening.
