Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar riffs with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5ths of the face at an angle.

Emo= Emotional person (used to be any female, now 80% males as well) who often listens to Punk bands (Simple Plan, Good Charlotte etc) that often talk about how depressing their lives are, how few freinds they have. ATTENTION SEEKERS
