hey everyone, well this weekend i das driving in the city last night and went right. All good except that it was a one way street and there was a red light camera there. The camera got me but it was a green light from where i was, problem is that there were no "no right turn" signs or any "one way" signs and where the cars were positioned it gave the impression that it was a normal 2 way street. Basiclly im wondering what the charge is? Running a red light, or reckless or something. Has this happened to anyone?

I had an incident with a Red Light Camera, where it was a poorly lit intersection, and i was creeping forward. Moved off the sensor, and it flashed twice as they do.

Both flashes were me in the same position, so it was obvious I didn't go through the red light, and I never got anything from it.

Your case is a little different, but I reckon you'll be right.

you might be depending on whether they are aware that its a oneway your turning into.

Running a red is 3 points i think and 200 or 250 now. However you didnt run the red you just turned into a one-way street.

My last red light camera fine was for "exceeding the white line"
as I didnt actually go through a red light but was over the line
by about 2-3 tyre lenghts

Not sure in your situation, just explain it when you go see the pic.

I attempted to turn left through an orange light once, that turned red before I'd crossed the line...and I got flashed..

Needless to say, I got the fine in the mail and had no grounds for appeal

Hmm one ways and all that shit can be fucked up.... my dad was hit by a woman driving the wrong way down a one way street..... anyhow lucky he changed his insurer after the payout because 6 months later this stupid bitch appeals and they got a female judge and lost the case somehow.... eg HE should have been watching for cars turning onto the one way street going the wrong way and stopped before she hit him!

I turned down a one way street in Northbridge at night one time haha that was pretty scary luckily there was a carpark I could turn down before any traffic came close
