i thought as P Platers you get 6 each year. So 6 in your first, 6 in your second and then 12 once your off your P's

You actually start off with 0 demerit points..

You dont lose demerits you gain them.

As a P plater to lose you licence you need to gain 12 to lose it just like the rest of us. Should you gain more than 12 say 15.. When you get your licence back after your suspension you will already have 3 demerits on it.

This is interesting .. I recently got my licence back for something which has no demerit points associateted with it .. Just slam, 3 months.

I think i'd rather take that than lost liccy, and get it back with points! So i've got my liccy back, and 0 demerits marked against it.

wrong. Start off with 0 points and when you accumulate 12 you obviously lose your licence P-platers dont differ from normal drivers. Only BAC of 0.02%

cheers guys.
it was very unfortunate for me to get caught by cops last night on high road .. 84 in 70 zone .. $150 + 4(2x2) demerit points .. damn .. happy easter for me hey haha, oh well, it was inevitable for me to get caught one day.

just wanted to know if it was 12 or 6, because if it were 6, ide be down to 2 now and ill be a bit sweaty driving around with 2 points because if i get caught once more for doing any stupid shit, ide lose my licence. But with 8 points left, i got a bit more flexability, but still gotta be responsible like always

hope you all had a happy easter!

cheers
-Nick
