Pretty sure they are not region specific, interchangable all the way! Could be wrong though.

Yeah thats true. I love my DS thats for sure, addicted to Bomberman atm, but yeah different games and options i guess plus crystal clear graffix are definately a bonus.

If anyone does get their psp, dont upgrade to version 2.0 with your demo disk.

Alot of forums are saying that it disables you being able to get hack programs for it as the hack programs only work on version 1.5's (how it is out of the box)


As for pixels missing.... luckily mine are all there. There are heaps of them with missing ones that sony says you can email or contact them to organise them to exchange them...... but like the PSX2's that could be 3 months without your PSP

Actually awesome to hear they're v1.5 out of the box and not 2.0, 2.0 apparently gives a nice web browser and a few other minor features while disabling a lot of the useful stuff.

got ours today all i can say is its fkn sik! he DS doesnt come any where close to it and is a pile of shit compared to it, graphics are awesome and dvd andvideo is crystal clear on the psp. Well worth the money. Only thing i say is games r prolly a little over priced and possibly dvds could be abit cheaper. some r 24 bucs n sum are 34. Should all be about 19.95. And i reckon games should be no more then 60 bucks.

But overall i love it.

Bought one this weekend, very impressed with the screen!
Just hooked it up to the wireless at home and ran the network update..
looking forward to using the web browser once firmware v2.0 is installed.

Bought F1 & Virtua Tennis, Tennis is awesome! but the F1 is a bit povo.. taking awhile to get used to the sensitivty of the controls anyone found this with driving games on the PSP?

ALso bought mine on the first day. I bought nfs underground rivals. I played the soccer game at a mates place and that was cool so I bought that to.

One thing that does shit me though is that you can just be playing away and my finger sometimes turn the damm thing off.

Anyone know of anyone selling the discs the right size. Maybe if you take them out of the weird shape case they will fit in a normal cdrom?

Anyone priced the memory cards? Damm they are expensive. I can buy a 1gig one from the states or singapore for about $150 yet sony want a poo load more than that.

Otherwise love it. Mine lives permanently in the shitter.

dan - ur supposed to de-date it back to firmware 1.5 so u can download games and play it for free

there is a flash that does this for all the ver 2 out there

If you can pick up a copy of Midnite club 3, that has a version 1.5 install on it
