With the Port and Adelaide results that'll help our chances in 2 weeks. They will play a very hard "showdown" game in the city of churches and winner of that maul will have to come over to Perth to play the rested Eagles. All good.

Once there was a WRX... and I miss THX1138 the first.

the only thing now that worries me if we make the grand final it looks like we will prolly face the red hot saints, we'd be playin them on their turf, thats gonna be a hard ask wen they r in the form they r in now.

While i dont support the budgies, i hope they win the GF for WA football but they should just be thanking their lucky stars that they won

Sydney played better IMHO.

As much as i love freo, im sure i wont ever get to stand on Subiaco Oval like i did a few years ago after WCE won their '94 premiership. Was a truely memorable day for any young bloke! Some TOUGH players in that group

Yeah, Saints would be a tough ask, unless they score injuries to their stars (Del Santo, Ball, Reiwoldt, Harvey etc)

Something amusing though, I tried to replicate Ashley Sampi yesterday at my local basketball court and tried to kick the footy with my non prefered foot, aiming in between the bball posts (while shouting "SAMPI!" ala Steven Quartermain commentary) and my foot sort of landed on top of the ball and I back flopped onto the hard concrete - brilliant!

Bruised funny bone and ego, a few scratches, was what I scored instead.


I still prefer the guys from Channel 9 to commentate the Friday night footy. Commetti is a WA Legend!
