Bad news we wont be doing any modified cars or yellow stickers. There goes 99% of PWRX!

Same in Albany, I would say it's like that in most country towns

I think you will find the basic rule is that it is cars under 3 years and 60 thousand k's.

I need to get my car over the pits and they would not book it in at Kelmscott cause I am trying to get my B reg. it is really only the rubber stamp stuff like trays on new utes etc and making sure the measurements on the tray are right and the engine numbers are correct.

the question is the restrictions for 5M and under.. can i supposedly fit hmm let say a cadillac at 5.8m length into RAC... you think they would kick up a fuss?

me personally i think they are biased, they wanting only little pocket rockets (under 5m) .. discrimination hey

well im wondering where i stand, im converting a 96 impreza from ej18 fwd to ej20 turbo awd. for a normal engine swap its a bit of paperwork and thats it but going up in capacity and turbo you are "supposed to" have an inspection. I wonder if RAC will do them?

Rac will just be doing basic inspection for re-registration of unlicenced cars, and other state registered cars. Also taxi annual inspections. No yellow stickers, no imports (unless previously registered in WA), no modified cars (light mods ok), no permits etc, etc. We wont be doing cars over a certain length or weight. The reason being that we don't have pits, so it's a case of what will fit in the workshop/on the hoists. As far as modified cars go, we don't have the equipment that DPi have. (e.g decibel meters for exhaust noise limits.) Also we don't have the power that they have. We are simply relieving them of their massive backlog of cars.............

Scoot.
