go the MAC!! my 2nd one.. the first is still going strong after 3ish years work..
my new one is Mac Pro with 2x 2.66ghz dual core, 2 gb ram (up to 16Gb), 600gb hd (up to 3 Terrabyte storage), dvd writer,NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, 20" monitor.. best money spent.. good for uploading vids through firewire (from DV camcorder) after a nite at barbagallo, collie etc... multimedia is my fav part of the mac.. i swear by it.. not to mention wireless & bluetooth capabilities. However safari is a let down, and that leave Firefox to pick the missing pieces and make a better browser

yeah i guess i gotta upgrade (running Safari 2.0.04).. but because me and the missus use the same comp (and diff logins etc for p diddy) we use seperate browsers so "cookies" do not clash.

My pc has a 7800GTX and 2gb RAM
and its a year n half old.

For $1400, I could build a better spec system than that

another good thing about the pc , build your own that will kick ass
AND then when some of the parts get old , go get new parts and upgrade.

Yeah didn't I see you on one of those spanka Hands on Computer training ads? You don't drive a yellow EVO by any chance... ? Anyway..

Yeah Macs are pretty and have fully sic graphics, usefulness in an enterprise environment = 0.

If we leave all the newbs like you and your Mum on Macs then you are definitely doing PC users a favour, keep it up.

I've been a windows person since the beginning, however did purchase a macbook a few months ago.

I must admit, it's stable and nice, but windows seems a whole lot easier/more efficient to use - I guess I couldn't be bothered relearning the new operating system so it got sold. Also, I found it much easier to conduct hardware/software repair operations on my windows machines as compared to the mac.

Each to their own though

so your pc cost the same as your paint job and you're trying to compare it to a full house strip down and repaint?

Mac > PC
