I know of plenty of tailiing dams on mine sites that would happily accomodate some piece of shit theif. Is 48m deep enough you think or do want them to be found one day?

if they steal it and u get the call u wait till they are around the corner and shut down the engine so they would have had it only 5 mins. call the cops jump in another car with peoiple and head to it.

its not the value so much of these cars as the time and effort and the bullshit of loosing it.

Yes. Some insurance companys will give a discount.

If someone else does it, then they know how it is installed. Do you
trust them ? Do they get drunk and crap on down the pub
to their mates about how they installed one in a WRX which had
this great engine ? They also may know where you live from
details given to the install company.

Depending on the setup, then YES. the unit will call you even if the
alarm does not go off. That means they have no idea you are about
to come out the back door with a baseball bat or shotgun.

They can only remove it if they know where it is. If they have no
idea where it is installed (aka do it yourself) then they will not be
able to disable it easily. Even so, by the time they find it, it had already
called you and you have a group together to whoop their ass.


Good point. However, if the unit is used correctly then they will not
be able to start it anyway before it rings you and you 'take care
of business'
