Had one done by O'briens. Big chip turned into a small dot. If you looked hard you could see it, otherwise it looks like nothing.

I'd give that a go first esp with the amount of electronic gizmo's on windscreens these days.

would be your best bet if you don't want to replace the whole screen

Steer clear of the Malaga Branch, they made the chip in my windscreen even worse. Bunch of douches.

Check with your insurance, because they may cover chip repairs as well. Im with RAC and i get 2 free repairs plus a replacement

With Shannons. Pretty sure looking at the PDS that I get 1 excess free replacement of any window every year but no repairs ( I could be reading it wrong ).

I'm off to Bathurst and MotoGP with it in October and really don't want to use the free replacement cos there is a fair chance I'll have a couple of chips when I get back. Just don't want to leave it and then be stuck replacing it somewhere during the trip.

I'd been happy to use Jester's sticky tap and fix it for you

Well its rare to get good service these days so a big thumbs up to O'Briens Canning Vale.

Turns out the chip wasn't deep enough to be bothered repairing so they filled it and gave it a quick polish so its smooth and fingers crossed stops it starting a crack and sent me on my way no charge.

It is still visible but no worse than the smallest of bug splats.

Thanx to their good attitude they will definately get my business when it does need replacing.

Good to hear they did it for nothing (very unusual!) and that you had a great experience with them

Also i think you need to change your sig, kudos for the optimism but Webber has ZERO chance of getting the crown this year.........just saying!
