Don't most insurance companies give 1 free windscreen per year? or is that just RAC?

Might as well use an old thread rather than start a new one.

Just copped a small ( and I mean small ) chip in the windscreen on the GTI. I'm pretty sure with the shape of it though it will be one that will start to spread pretty quick.

So how good are the repair jobs these days. The ones I saw were pretty average a few years ago but guessing they are better at it now.

Who's the dude to see these days that will do the best job???

O-Brian, with their patented injection mould system, repairs the windscreen without replacing it, and the windscreen is tough again

O....O....O Brian ;P

would be your best bet if you don't want to replace the whole screen

Cheers

Had a chip fixed by novus years ago and it was a great job. Didn't even crack with 4 years of circuit racing and was so undetectable it passed scrutineering every time.
