Well he is still second in the championship and there is still a chance Vettel may have an unfortunate incident involving alcohol and a goat so until its mathamatically impossible I'm sticking with it.

( You are probably right though )

I got a small 14mm dia chip on my windscreen where is the best place to get it fixed?

O'Briens, Novus still the one?

Also I'm with RAC not sure if it worth getting a whole new windscreen

Just had my windscreen replaced by Novus through insurance with RAC. (2006 WRX) I only had to pay $100 excess and it didn't affect the no claim bonus. I had a number of small chips on it since I bought the car and they eventually cracked all the way through in one area. Windscreen is identical to the factory one. I'm not sure what the cost of a chip repair is but may be worth the $100 to get a new one if your policy is the same as mine.

Given the location, I would suspect it would be ineligible for repair & whole windscreen replacment would be required.

Anything within zone A constitutes not repairable from my understanding

Also anything bigger than a 20 cent piece is not repairable.

Might give RAC a ring and get a new windscreen as most places wanted $120 just to fill the chip

How good a job did novus do? Mine was replaced by Novus a few years ago and it was a completely sh*thouse job. Can see the adhesive from the inside of the car where they put too much on, and they broke the clips on the trim running up the side of the windscreen over the roof, and didnt stick the clips under the windwscreen properly so it does sit quite right on the glass or roof

I copped a decent stone right where my head is, probably would have killed me if it went through the windscreen.

Just got Windscreens O'Brien to fill it as best they could with the latest way they normally fix them. It's still visible, but the crack is not growing at all.

Just living with it and doesn't really bother me at all.

Shannons don't do windscreen replacements.

A really good job as far as I can tell. The repairman was an older guy who seemed to take pride in his work. He said he is the guy they send when the car is anything other than a Commodore or Ford. He spent alot of time cleaning off the old adhesive before he put the new stuff on. He also made sure the trim had no cracks and or splits in it before he attached it to the glass as the first lot he put on had a few splits in it and he wasn't happy with it.
