Default amps, in boot or under seats ?

I want my amps in the boot just because that's where I want them. but every car installer recommended me having them in the seats. reason being, harder to steal, saves room in the boot. is it easier for them to do it under the seats and are they just lazy ?

less wiring so yeah, but it contradicts its self because you still need wiring to go to subs...i recommend alberts for installs.

+2 for Alberts, but try Morley also, pretty damn good there too.

If you are doing a budget system, go for it. If you have quality gear, get some more opinions from guys in the industry. Amps get really hot when you push them hard for extended periods. Think about how close they will be to the underside of your seat and how much air flow they'll recieve. My 2c

In the boot IMO

Pro's:-

Cooler air and plenty of ventilation
Won't get damaged by someone spilling there drink in the back seat or kicked
Easier to adjust tune in the future

Cons:-
Installation is only a little bit harder for lazy installers
More money on install & Cabling cost
Easier to steal then underseat install

There is considerable heat generated by your amps also. It could be a bit of a pain in summer having ur air con cranked every time u want some doof doof.
