You're right, it doesn't take long.

However you need the money to invest in the first place (investing $2k its gonna take awhile), the average bloke on $35K a year will struggle to find that.

thats very true mate and thats why the rich fucks like the Packers and Murdochs keep getting richer..

ive got about $58k invested at the moment which is making me roughly $12-15k a year roughly after CGT etc etc - it will take a looooooooonnng time to get to $1m !!

58k!! jeez i have about 5k invested

if he dropped out of uni his a bit of a dick, espcially if he was in his last year, even if it was 2nd last year, finish what you started ffs! least you can say you actually have a degree, even if you dont work.
