I know that street well and if its done at certain times, you could get away with it as it can be very quiet and no one will know what your up to late at night

Problem with a car like that is you cant sell it and get what its worth (or every man and is dog would find out) and it'd be worth SFA stripped down.

If you were gonna strip a car down you'd steal the monaro! at least you could get rid of the gear a bit easier.

I could be wrong but i believe these are pretty highly sought after in the USA so if done well enough to get it through customs etc it may be do able. Otherwise i agree with what you are saying...

specially a GTHO parts are rare as.... people bound to find out

Why would they want these in the US? the people who are paying 500K+ for these are baby boomers who grew with these as their dream car who now can afford them. I like them but wont pay that amount for one, but for the people who do what a great investment to have your dream car which will just appreciate in value over time.
