Default clowns on motor bikes

yesterday at the lights benara & beechboro turning right with the arrow some clown on a small little motor bike decided to push his way in going back and forth. i threw my hands in the air in despair - he told me that what he did was legal and I just laughed at him. He was angry - the light turned green and I told him to rack off.

What is your opinion? I think motor bikes should be banned!

It is legal, as long as they indicate when crossing the dashed lines and dont cross when the intersection lines go solid.

Let me guess you had been sitting in the queue for a while and got pissed off that the rider didn't. Because of that you decide that bikes should be banned.

Whilst what he was doing was probably illegal wouldn't you do it if you had the chance? All banning bikes would do is put more cars on the road so make you travel time even longer.

Think about how much easier (and better for the environment) the drive into Perth would be every morning if all the cars with one occupant were made to ride bikes.

haha that pic made me giggle... (taken in malaysia too)

My two cents...motorcyclists are more experienced drivers than people who just drive cars... because they know motorcyclist rules, they have an idea how other motorcyclists are going to ride, what they are doing, where they are going to be (for blindspots) etc... and they know general driving road rules as well. So i don't think the majority of them are Clowns at all.

My Dad has ridden motorbikes for years and is a postman so he rides a motorbike everyday, a lot of drivers don't have a lot of respect for posties/motorcyclists... they even have given excuses such as I couldn't see you. Everyones seen a postie right? so that excuse is a bunch of b*llocks to me.

I don't believe riding up the middle is illegal just yet... but they are intending on making it illegal. My Dad mentioned something about it, so don't quote me.

I'm too scared to learn how to ride a motorbike (as much as i'd really love to) because of ignorant motorists in cars not giving a shite about motorcyclists, it's just too dangerous.
