Xbox 360 now plays Divx and Xvid

Where do you play your games, in your study or in the lounge room? Do you play against mates? Do you have a decent sized TV?

Just been in your position Giddy, I've been a PC gamer all my life (last console i owned was a Nintendo, and I mean the ORIGINAL). But i needed some entertainment over the christmas period, recently got a 46" bravaria XBR and now really isn't the right time to buy a new pc with serious developments on the horizon.
So its a +1 for the ps3 for me.... Call of Duty 4 is seriously awesome and Colin Mcrae Dirt is a wikid game to play while we all wait for Gran Turismo.

It will never appear on the PS3 only Xbox and PC

See thats why I want an xbox because I want halo. BUt ps3 has the bluy ray.... I dunno what Im gonna do?????

xbox 360 + HD-DVD add-on then???

Standalone HD-DVD players are outselling Standalone BluRay players and i think the trend will continue...
Include the PS3 though and there are more BluRay players sold though

I just bought a Xbox 360 from Kmart for HELL CHEAP 529 with 3 Games ,Viva Pinata (kids game will give it to the cousins) Forza 2 and Call of Duty 4 , i then went to EBGAMES and lashed out on second hand games blew $130 on 4 other games, blazing angels, project gotham 3 along with perfect dark and hears of war, then i bought halo 3 for $76 from kmart too i think ive got enough games for a while plus my PC for when i get home.......halo 2 on pc and Need for Speed Pro Street on pc

go A good new pc then get a 360 to use the media centre features none of the ps3 crap is any good and theres double the titles on 360
