I love dogs but would never actually have one.
They are a lot of work if you're going to keep one properly.

This is why I like cats. Cats do their own thing most of the time.

You're right, they take a lot of time and effort (compared to a cat or fish or something) but they are the most loyal and loving mate you will ever have. Doesn't matter what happens, when I open the door my best mate is there happy to see me.

This is Muppet our Spoodle. He is as dumb as 2 planks and is such a wimp, but we love him. Well I love him more when he is asleep.

Abso-fucking-lutely.
That's what I miss most about my dog...
The sheer fucking excitement they get when all you do is simply return to them.
I actually captured the moment when my girlfriend and I returned home after a long time out in the bush.

Dogs went ballistic and were so stoked to see us. The black dog is the one that was run over and killed this year. Poor fucking thing.

This is diesel our ~20mth old Staffy x Pitbull ! Such a big kid but don't try and jump the fence !!

Pictures courtesy of Jess

And this is Kat our Cat: off Red Dwarf for those that wanna know...He is a purebred Ragdoll.

Both of our Pets were adopted, both off friends that no longer wanted pet's (can see why they didn't want the cat though the little shit eats more than the darn dog I kid you not and the dogs 8 times the weight of him!!)
