LOL beat me to it. Currently in the process of building one of these out of a TD04..

Good fun

Get yourself a proper combustion chamber going, an old oil pump from the wreckers and maybe some flameback protection. PM me if you need some help.

You could make a generator or use it anywhere you would use a standard internal combustion engine.

People put these on go karts and have a ball

Edit: A jet engine which has the same weight as an internal combustion engine out of our cars could produce thousands of HP for example.
