 Sorry but i had to bring it up..  .... Underbelly!  Who watched it last night? Opinions?...Thoughts?.. Personally i LOVED it! can't wait for next week!

Yer was pretty good,
Australian Sopranos What's this I hear about the eastern states version different from the Perth version of the show? I think I heard it on the radio, but might have heard wrong. Also just got into Dexter, awsome

Hi,
Obviously couldn't afford Vince for very long. Personally I thought the show was crap, and highly inaccurate. Cheers, Nik

I did a bit of a 'search and read-up' on the net.... and from what i can gather i think the show revolves around the morans and the 'driver' carl williams?.. i think thats his name....
Do a search..... dont wanna say it out aloud here!

Yep, Carl the driver is the one to watch. His character plays, as a bit of a drop kick but I think as the show goes on I reckon his character will turn full circle and he will be alot wittier than what he is currently portrayed! But only time will tell...
Overall I think the show is reaaly good so far!

Alphones Gangitano (played by vince) is not the main charachter, the reason his character is important however, is that the shooting in which he was involved in, in 1995, started the whole chain reaction that led to the melbourne gangland killings
The main charachters in underbelly are the moran family (mainly Jason, his father & half brother mark), tony morkbel and carl williams (who is now serving life behind bars and wont be eligable for perole till he is 70). seems like some people dont realise its based on real events ;P

i liked it, i dont care if it wasnt 100 percent accurate, most shows/movies based on true stories arent 100 percen accurate, however the gist of what happened is there, carl williams is def portrayed as a bit of a tool in the first episode, but thats just the actor playing it and the way the director wanted him to act.
looking forward to next week.
