Default LAPTOP help its stuffed

hey guys used my laptop today and all was fine, went home to boot it up and got this msg..

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

If this is the first time youve seen this stop errors screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation ask your hardware or software maintenance for any windows updates u might need.

If problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. Ig you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 and then select safe mode.

Technical information

***STOP:OxOOOOOOED(Ox86384cO8, OxCOOOOOO6, OxOOOOOOOO, OxOOOOOOOO)

please help i havent installed anything recently, i tried going into safe mode but these screen keeps on appearing..

Can anyone offer any advice to sort this out?? What does this error also mean??

Thanks
Tino

Check the hardrive is properly installed. It may have taken a bump and be slightly out of it's conenction.

Then find someone with a boot disc. The run the command fixmbr
(some of the original windows CD's will allow you to go to command prompt and do this.)

If that fails get someone to pop the drive into an external enclosure and see if they can recover all your porn collection you have just lost.
