wow!

one of my fav shows, catch it all the time on discovery and only just finished watching season 2 on dvd last night!

love or hate him personally you have to respect the man for what his done to the custom car scene.

the whole boyd/foose bad blood fasinates me to no end. ive spent hours searching through various hot-rod forums trying to get to the bottom off it but alas, it did make for great television!

godspeed boyd!

Didnt Fooses dad work with boyd in the earlier years, and had a falling out. Then Chip also worked for boyd in his early days and left to start his own business and boydd has since been dark on him from that day?

RIP Boyd....... was the designer and maker of some amazing cars in his time....and hell he made the hotrod for ZZ Top!!!

Didn't know about Foose Snr, but Chip was his apprentice and Chief Designer for some time. I guess Boyd just didn't want to have him in competition because he knew his skill and ideas would make it hard to remain at the top of the scene. Boyd getting crowned King of Hot Rods really says something about the man. Jessie James of Monster Garage spent several years working in Boyd's shop and has his own show now too. NIX NADA ZIP FREEBIE cracks me up every time haha.
