bringing this up:

has anyone tried streaming videos driectly of the net via PS3?? I'm with iinet and they provide free Premier League soccer via their website and it doesn't load in PS3??

ive used youtube on my ps3, videos off there worked fine.

unless iinet's premier league uses some weird codecs?? anyone had similar issues?

Youtube is flash based video, pretty sure iiNet's isn't so that woulld be why

PS3 does support divx nowdays but according to iinet the premier league requires flash player 7 as well, hopefully a firmware upgrade to enable remote desktoping into a PC...proly not likely
