I reckon kwells are the go also keeping your stomach half full helps as well but when you are getting distracted by reeling in fish thats the best .

I suffer quite badly from sea sickness but I reckon 99% of it is phycological. I reckon I talk myself into it. I think taking the tablets does bugger all but at least then you think that you will be fine and you are. i.e. they could be sugar and would still have the same effect.

There is one upside of suffering from sea sickness.

I guess I'm a lucky one, never been sea sick, car sick or plane sick! But my dad takes kwells every time he goes fishing on the boat.

100% agreed*

I've been on a few boats over the years and have spent up to 15 days 120miles out to sea in a 60ft'r and its never been an issue. 10 days in some serious windy / rough stuff and didnt even think about it.

Feral will tell you, we've been out fishing and if i dont think about being sick, i wont be BUT if i think about it'll happen and then its fine again. One day out wide, glassed off like a bathtub and lunch comes out LOL. Didnt catch any fish either

Swell isnt an issue out wide as half the time you dont notice it. Its when it starts getting lumpy.

Feral, i've found a killa location. End of the trench, 450m++. Fairly large shipwreck Bit like the derwent, but on steroids! Some serious fish apparently but lots of big sharks!

*If you've had a serious night on the piss the night before, you've got no chance
