His massive sponsorship deal with ING has a results clause. No results = no cash = a very unhappy Renault = Briatore out of a job.

However, I dont think it will happen. Not mid season. What are they going to do ? Threaten them with engine supply - wont happen, its in no ones interests to pull the motors from Red Bull, after all every time they finish a race in the points its points attached to the motor, and thus good for Renault.

Young Nelson will be fine - the car is a pig and im guessing its taking some growing used to.

HK did very well late 07 once he settled in, but it might be too late for that.

Webber could have been a Renault guy in 05 and 06 partnering Alonso in a fantastic WDC winning car, but he turned it down to go to Williams. Now he wants to swap into the team when its on a downward turn?

Seems a little wierd.
