Exactly why i asked this question.

I've had another cop search through my boot looking for a nitrous bottle.
I pulled over and the timer kept it running for 30 seconds.
direct quote: "This thing smells funny, is it NOSSED UP?"
I said no and opened my boot and he tried to see under the stereo's false floor.

I've been interrogated on the side of the road, where have you been?, where are you going? type crap. Had my pockets and wallet searched and the serial number of my bike taken down.
Pisses me off being treated like a criminal. I just wanted to know if im allowed to tell them to eat a dick and leave me alone.
I've had the same thing happen to my brother and I, riding around during the middle of the day. Tipped out our bags, accused us of breaking and entering and then tried to take us down to the station for not being at school (private school has slightly different holidays). Just pricks and they can do what they want because all they have to say is they suspected you had something/did something.

i really do not like the idea of a cop pulling me over and "testing" my car without my permission. I reckon i'll be installing a button to put a 2300rpm rev limiter

Just to enough to maybe get it rolling.

you can get alarm/security systems that have RPM limiters (valet mode)

i had 3 cops go over my car for 15 mins one time , they where pretty agressive but i have nothing to hide so i told them go for it and they did! , found nothing ,and went away , tried to pull me up on my key pad alarm thet they said was no way stock and thought they had me when i had 1 window down , they put it up and tested the tint .. just incase i had 1 dark window!

my mate with me was not happy , he is a cop and could not belive they acted like that (he just got in when we got pulled so had not started working as a cop yet)

I know with the LINK hand controller you can set a rev limit. Dunno about PFC, and im guessing MoTec or Autronics could use a seperate in channel to do it.
