Gives you way more time to get on the brake if you've got a shitter...
How does one slowly release a clutch then drop it?

Roll back method require brutality cos its usually only underpowered shitters that do them.

Hard to explain... dont slowly release it the whole way, be gentle on the transition between the wheels going backwards to forwards. Then sidestep the rest of the way.
Thats the way I've always done it, and i've done countless rollbacks. =)

My first burnout (single pegger spec) was outside Armadale train station in an XF Falcon trying to impress a girl.. Cant get more australian than that!! Two cops watching me the whole time. Asked why i was so far from home and fined me undue and excessive noise.

Not much point doing skids tho Kato, somewhere along the line you'll just get pinged

Hehehe...

Yeah skids I've done heaps. Just curious of everyone elses techniques, plus some Friday randomness was required

Cressida was easy - 2nd gear, dial up 5000 - 6000 rpm, drop clutch, onto brake.. used to do the best skids

R31 kept breaking axles and single pegger ones are poo, but that was more like 4000rpm and slip it out a little with the twin plate.

R32 - had to step off limiter (8000rpm) cos a 200 rwhp RB20 is fucking gutless. Awesome nuts but

Liberty will paint 3 lines (rear lsd front single) with a big launch... and I wonder why it keeps breaking everything humanly possible
