Help: Got broken into - Perth-WRX.com

My new house in The Vines got broken into the other day. A few stuff gone, police been round, no decent evidence etc. Not sure if i'm insured as we hadn't actually moved in yet (still working on that). Anyway the reason I put this thread up is that one of the things stolen might stand out if up for sale somewhere. It was and old style Xbox (HALO edition) this has a green see through case instead of the normal black one and says 'HALO' on it. It has 4 controllers, one black, one clear white, one clear green, and one clear blue. Has approx 20 games with it and original packaging box.

If you see one of these up for sale somewhere please let me know so I can catch the theiving scumbags....

Sorry to hear champ, will def keep a lookout for you. Hope ur insurance works out..hate pricks who rob houses, hope they come to mine cos they wont be leaving...

Sorry to hear mate. i will definatley keep an eye out for Halo edition xbox. Hope these guys get what they deserve.

With the insurance call your insurer, alot of places have a seven day dual cover clause in the policy when you move house. This covers your contents during 7 days whilst moving between properties.

who are you insured with? Librt and jzr are the insurance guru's, so hopefully what they said with the dual cover policy is correct in ur case!!

I think Tim (aka NVRENUF) works at cashie's or has some contact there, so maybe he can keep an eye out for you too... Try the local Cashie's between Joondalup and the City, it might turn up somewhere.

Any other valuables nicked?

About $3000 worth all up. Computer was taking. My wife is spewing cos we had a 500gig hard drive with approx 10 years of family photos on there which can never be replaced.

RAC offer a 14day period where you are covered at both address mate, give us a ring and we will see what we can do. You still work in Auto Department?

My wife is sorting it all, she used to work for RAC insurance. Well get in touch with you if we have any dramas mate, and Yeah, still working at Auto Services.
