Anyone worked in a kitchen?

I did a stint for a bit helping out when required and the language makes ya blush.

It is truly a fast paced high pressure job, when ur lucky enough to be busy, and its no surprise that if ur lucky enough to have a missus its easy for the relationship to suffer and/or turn to the booze or drugs to wind down after (or before) service.

Ive quite enjoyed watching alot of his shows and can see some real goodness in him, even if he comes across as a bit of twat.

If you watch enough of his episodes you will notice that he always has water when sitting down to taste the meals, very very rarely will there be a real drink in front of him.

Working in a kitchen, yes, done. High stress, lots of drugs, agreed. The atmosphere does not have to be one of condescending, arrogant and blatant rudeness for the sake of rudeness. Far greater chefs get far more accomplished without the hokey pokey bullshit style that Ramsey endorses.

Look closer to some of Australia's great. Neil Perry never raises his voice, but still commands respect and delivers the finest of cuisine day in, day out.
