What a start to the morning!
I have finally just got to work.
I left home at 6:30 this morning to drive from Mandurah to Harvey. I get 15km out of Harvey, hit a little branch on the road (could not avoid it) It gets caught up in my rear right tyre well bangs around a bit, spits itself out and BANG my Tyre pops. No drama I think, I pull into the rest stop conveniently placed 200m down the road, get out, jack the car up, get the tyre spanner out and the fuckn thing does not fit as I have had 20" rims put on and the holes in the rims are too small for the tyre spanner. No problem, I will call RAC, oh shit, Vodafone reception is not too good in Harvey. I end up standing on the back tailgate of the car trying to get coverage which happens to work. Then it starts PISSING down, RAC come 1 hour later and he says oh ohhh. I don't have a socket that will fit! So 1 hour more he comes back and puts it on, I finally get on my way to continue my journey to Stirling! Fuckn cars!!! |

Does that mean i should carry a spare tyre also for that flat tyre thats never happened to me.
At todays fuel prices I will enjoy better fuel economy with 20kg less thanks! Spare tyre FTL

Good to see the dealer had the foresight to provide the ancillary support with the vehicle to tackle a 'worst case scenario' situation.
