If the N95 8GB version cost $1K+ for Outright then I'm guessing the iPhone outright for the 8GB or 16GB will also be $1K+ to buy it outright.

I'll stick with my N95 8GB for the time been.

I just got my payout figure from Vodafone, I will be buying one as soon as they are released. It sucks to be the people that have bought them from ebay etc...

for those that are with vodaphone or optus already, which would be better for

network-network calls etc.

i.e. if i was on vodaphone calling another vodaphone.

reason i ask, is my gf's contract finishes soon and were both planning on going on the same network so we can save money when we call each other, sms etc.

Thats what the hype is about for the rest of the world. Yes the iPhone 2.0 does 3G. We get the iPhone on July 11 the rest of the world (inc us) gets the iPhone 2.0 with 3G July 11

Also who has seen mobileme? That looks pretty sweet. It's effectively exchange for Mac. Gives you 20GB of storage, push email etc... for $119 per year Swweeeett
