i agree with Usher but nothing wrong with Carey Park or Withers, maybe i was lucky but i was in Withers for two years and never had any problems, i still have my house there too. G/f's mum lives in Cary Park, been there for a quite a few years and again, she's had no problems. most of these areas have been cleaned up over the last 3 - 6 years, still some crap pockets but mostly good.

fuck that, Withers is still the ghetto of Bunbury. Scarey Park is slowly cleaning up, but theres still the bad areas kinda behind the crematory.

Every place has its bad areas though, thats the thing.

Dalyellup had covenants from day 1; homeswest were supposed to be stopped from buying in there, however one of the estate agents bought around 10 blocks on spec then resold to homeswest after a couple of years, and somehow bypassing the covenants.

In any event, the lucky ones that moved in were at the higher end of the screening process and Daly remains a fairly decent place to live.

Agree that Withers is still the Bronx of Bunbury, yet it is actually one of the best places to buy into investment-wise, in the light of rental housing shortage and the fact that rental rates don't drop much as you move to the lower income areas. Especially now that industry is surging ahead once again, particularly the next expansion of Worsley (4000+ extra workers needed), amongst other projects.

Millbridge is nice cause its all new. Treendale is nice too, and eventually when the other blocks are opened up, they will meet up.

Millbridge is very nice n right next door to me!

you have glen huon primary just down the road and a new catholic primary school is going to be built eventually in millbridge too. Eaton community collage also just down the road (high school) as well as library, rec centre and shopping centre all a stones throw away.... even a pub.. all be it a bit feral. Rates in Eaton tend to be a bit lower than in buno too coz its part of dardinup shire not bunbury.


Do you guys wanna try for a friday lunch or something? I'd be keen to say hi as well, good chance to meet a few other members.
