Save yourself a truck load of cash and buy direct from places like:

http://www.stellamodels.net
http://www.rcmart.com

Not the same as buying from ebay, you are buying direct from their online stores. I've dealt with both of these (and more) and they are very reliable.

Alternatively, grab a holiday and fly to Hong Kong, the gear there is a third to half the price of any of the shops in Perth, and there is a lot more variety. I was there in October and bought crap loads, there are shops on both sides of an entire street (plus alley ways running off) that just sell R/C gear.

Let me know if you want to know more.

BTW do you race? And if so, where?

Cheers,

Wrxpc

Hey, I race Tues nights @ Venville PRECC Stock B 27x1 motor class - I'm running a hop'd-up TT01 as I drift occassionally too. Also practice at Ryper's on Sat mornings which is good fun as no one's there usually.

Dude, I race at PRECC too .. that's my STi parked on the grass outside the front door I've been racing Stock A up until just last night, when I got talked into running brushless. Brushless is awesome!

We probably know each other already. I run the white and black Mazda 6 shell with the orange tape stripes - what shell do you run on yours?

Cheers,

Wrxpc

Haha small world, yeah I see your STi all the time. I don't drive my car cos the area's pretty dodgey imo, especially parking up the road in the darkness as I usually get to Venville late. I've got a Mazda 6 painted green/purple (flip colour) with black bonnet and spoiler.

I get there early, which is how I get to park right out the front. I walk outside and check on it often ....

Your shell - is that the one with the Cypher sticker on the bonnet?

Cheers,

Wrxpc
