wow - thanks for the info all.

Through work im getting a medium suv to sit 4 people with 4 large suitcases. $650 usd for 12 days (cheap cheap) to ride around the west coast

Red: would have loved to get a 2 door but not enough room for us all plus luggage.

LA is just a landing spot as the tickets i got were tooooooo cheap ( i paid $1300 return inc taxs for May 2009. We have booked to eat at Gordon Ramsay's resturant on the same night of arrival and then the next day (which is saturday) basically just to drive around LA (like beverelly hills, rodeo etc).

From there we will go the places staying 2 nights in SF and 2 Nights in Sandiego. Might have to sneak tijuana in the mix (sounds good thanks Dave). Staing in Vegas for 5 nights. Tossing up to stay at either Caesers Palace or the Bellagio. Basically party hard and gamble. My wife wants to go to the pussy cat lounge which was hard to say ok (not) .

We then fly to NYC and spend 13 nights there. From there we fly to Miami (couple of nights) then coach to florida to go to disneyworld for a couple of nights!!

then back to LA then Home

I got me a fancy camera (DSLR) and i start a course on the 30th july for 6 weeks so I hope to take alot of amazing pics!!

thanks heaps all - time to google!!!

Both places are awesome and are right next to each other. Bellagio is where I stay but Caesers Palace is amazing since they did the upgrades and reno's. The shopping mall in Caesers is simply amazing but I recommend you keep you wife away from it if possible.

Save yourself HUNDREDS of dollars and stay at Bally's... It's across the road from the Bellagio (we watched the waterfountain show from our window) and is actually connected to PARIS..

Cost us $100 a night for a room with 2 queen beds.. The bellagio was like $300 a night.... End of the day you sleep in the room, and spend most of your time walking in the other hotels anyway...

and the Spearmint Rhino is a definite night out in vegas...

Thats the funny thing - The bellagio is charging $170US per night and Caesars is only Charging $120 per night. IMO that is soooooo cheap

We are not staying at the top suites but its still a nice place to hang up the hat after a hard night.

I think I would regret not stayin in either or.

I stayed at the Venetian when I was there. It is such a sweet place. I was on the 28th floor of the Venezia tower looking down the southern part of the strip. However it was really expensive. $1000 per night but I thought I would so it once and do it right.

LOL well I did take a seppo chick that I met in San francisco with me then she moved back to Australia for 5 or so months until she got home sick and then in turn turned into a psycho hose beast. I learnt that it wasn't only Australian chicks that were fuckn psychos.

ive stayed at the NYNY and the LUXOR. Both are very decent but the rooms in pyramid part of the luxor are old. They have new rooms in the wing. NYNY is very decent, but probably doesnt compare to the bellagio. The monorail starts across the road at the MGM so its still close to everything.
