I gave the TomTom app a test run to freo this afternoon and it seemed to work pretty well. Yes, the GPS location lags a little bit but it seemed to give plenty of warning before turns, offramps etc (mind you, I did know where I was going)

just got an iphone this arvo and loving it so far. non jailbroken ppl are missing out tho. soo many stupid apps to download.

has anyone found the easiest way to convert their songs to .m4r? ie - ringtone format. is there an app for this?

Bringing this back from the dead.

My current phone is an 8gb IPhone 3g running ios4 I think. I have been trying out a number of free apps and also just bought a cheapy to use as a speedo. I want to know how fast my go kart goes. Problem is, so far none of the apps I have used actually work.

Anyone know of an app that will work on my phone to do this that is either free or cheap?

Cheers Rossco. Just tried out G-tac free and that worked with the accelerometer but not with the gps. Either there is some box I need to tick on the phone settings, or either Optus or the phone has an issue...
