anyone care to venture why the mitsi 380 is soooo cheap now?

It is roomy as with some awesome features.

also +1 for the 380, I had one as I hire car recently in SA. I was amazed at the power FWD Skids FTW

Seriously, they are a good car. My boss had one for 4 months after his company car was wiped out by a cop car (yes, really!) and I got to drive it a fair bit. Really really nice to drive, well thought out inside.

The only thing I cannot stand is that you can see the rear cradle from the rear with standard ride height. Pathetic design work there by Mitsi.

Now that they are no longer made here, their resale is dead too. I recently saw a 05 Magna wholesale at 5k.. thats stupid.

get a golf, bro has the base model 1.6 comfortline or something, great little car to drive roomy as. im 6'4'' and when driving still plenty of room for passengers behind me. dad swears by his gt sport tdi also. good build quality, and european

380 is cheap because as previously mentioned are now discontinued and soon to be replaced with the Galant (finally we are getting it ) basically 380 redesigned and added more features. !

Expect them late 2009.

The Hyundai i30 is a good car, Ive got the SLX 1.6lt turbo diesel, and it does the job great......... and for just over $29K on road, you cant go wrong......... Its very roomy and has all the comforts you would need for a family. I was looking at the VW GT TDI before buying the Hyundai but at $42K puls on roads it was just too much.......
