Default Where do you put your Defi Controller?

Hai Guys,

Have Defi's in my car, but I don't like where the controller is atm. Trying to think of other locations and ways to mount.

So, where have you mounted yours?
Pics and any information on what tape/velcro you used would be handy too.

I had my Apexi controller where the ashtray is. The ashtray rails held the controller perfectly in place, along the split between the two halves of the controllers case.

Not sure if the Defi would fit there though, be worth checking either way.

My Defi link controller is double-sided taped to the side of the lower centre console (next to the driver's left knee) just to the side of the gear/boot but up a bit. That way you can hardly see the wiring loom coming out of the foot-well/dash and its at a convenient arms length if you need to recall peak and reset etc. when boosting.

What exact double-sided tape was it? Tried a random brand from bunnings and it failed to hold it.

Mine is mounted under the steering column with double sided tape. Use an alcohol wipe to clean the surface before applying the double sided tape.

Mine is under the steering column too, tucks in through the rubber shroud and fixed to the underside of the column, easy to see and use...but...also out of sight from any unwanted attention.
