Default 3g wireless internet

I need to get myself some 3g wireless type internet access. What has better speed/coverage, optus or three?

Anyone have any experience with either types?

3 is pretty good mate, they have a number of wireless options (ie USB, internet card) and plans. I have the 3G USB on the 3GB plan, its pretty good, obviously is quicker sometimes than other, but generally is quick enough!
Not sure about optus though!

Not sure about 7gb, my signal does alternate but it has never completely dropped out on me. Good thing is you can easily monitor exactly how much you have used and the strength of the connection!

Or work away, in which case you'd be better off with Telstra Next G anyway. Some people I used to work with had Telstra wireless and in Cataby it loaded pages quicker than the one at home does! And I lived less than 1km from the exchange!!

Moving in with the inlaws while my house is being built. I will get blamed for using their cap every month and also making their connection go down every ten minutes (dont ask) So i figure I will just get my own connection. Also good if I need to escape the house and work elsewhere for some piece and quiet.

NextG looks cool but bit expensive. NextG is $90/month for 3GB or $129/month for 10GB vs $39 for 6GB at three.
