Have anyone install MAME on their iphone and got it working?

thought id post here instead of making a new thread.

basically, had the iiphone on my lap (dont ask) and when i got out of my car, it dropped on the ground and now the screen is fucked, its just white llight with straight vertical lines.

whats should i do, or what can i do.

Dont think i can use warranty can i?

How much would it be to fix and are there any shops in perth that would fix it?

i'm guessing you have tried reseting the phone by taking the battery out and turning it back on???

Can't take the battery out of an iPhone.

Try pressing the on/off button and the home button for 30 seconds to force a reboot. If that fails, take it to a shop.

Surprising that is all to kill it, mines been thrown across a room and still works fine!

Some of us can only afford ones that you can take the battery out of.

So out of interest what happens when the battery eventually dies... or is that going to take longer than apple bringing out a newer model??

Iphone battery is replaceable, just need to go to a tech with the correct tools.

I have seen 2 other Iphones with a screen protector off an Ipod touch fitted (same size as Iphone but with no earpiece speaker).....both were complaining about low volume through the speaker....Fix? cut the screen protector around the earpiece.

If it just a low volume through the earpiece: during a call use the volume buttons (side ones next to the vibrate switch) to increase the volume.
