in regards to this you will not be able to claim it under warranty since its physical damage. if you have insurance you maybe able to say that its been stolen. though you will need to contact the police and get a quote number from them. and to repair it'll cost you more than $200 i'll say. coz just to replace the top layer of your screen costs $200. it seems that this went all the way and damaged the inner screens *dont know what its called but its the layers thats underneath* lots of $$$ for repairs.

I dropped and smashed my Iphone. Insurance covered it.

Ouch! they quoted me $1099 for the 8 GB 2 weeks ago!

Yep locked to tesltra 3g....$150 to unlock is what telstra quoted me.....

Hence why I went Pre paid through Optus. $849 outright with $400 credit & 1 Gb data....and $80 to unlock if required.
