went down to AHG a week ago with a mate who is part of "WA ford xr6t" Obversely I was the odd 1 out just thought ill post some pics for every1 to see, lots of tyre screeching, smoke, understeer wat a fun day

alot of freshly made black lines, a few guys were cautioned

Ford's are used to being off the road. I wouldn't worry to much about it!!!

I do like the XR6T's...especially the new F6...ummmmmm hotness...and quick as well!

Ur WRX would have hurt them in the twisties...though in a straight line they would have come off better...yeah? (mods ignored - stock for stock)...

yer my mate has a stock xr6t and me in my wrx, we did the same track time umm i think it was 1.09 or 1.10

I would keep that to myself. What happen you stall the car?

the fact that Mat has been to AHG several times, and this is your first time, would explain the times.

Nice work tho Josh.. practice will improve those times.

Would have loved to come down and help with the Subaru numbers, but I couldn't get the day off work as my boss was out of the office so someone had to man the fort.

LOL wrx isnt automatically faster, a well driven XR6T will leave a wrx in the dust without a problem.

my first wrx and first time driving a wrx on a track, still learnin how to handle it around corners and stuff, where to brake, how much acceleration etc, my wrx is stock. on the straight i got about 160km, which was alright but i was expectin more i guess dunno. the silver FPV in the above photos got about 180km and his time was umm i think it was 1.05 or somewhere around there

xr6t 245 kw , 480 Nm. WRX 169kw 320Nm. im sure u guys done better but for me, first time, havin the same time as a xr6t is ok for me, cause it shows me that even though he had more power and torque i kept up.
