I've seen a lot of joggers / gym people with the 1st gen strapped to their upper arms, the long shape seems to suit that application better.

But I don't like listening to music when exercising so I just got the largest one I could when I bought mine thinking it could double as a portable HDD (the old iPod Photo, still works fine after more than 3 years)

I'll probably just get a 32gb 'touch' if / when this one dies, cause portable HDDS are now cheap.

The RS Clio is a great drive 'eh?

Just did it, as long as you have a steady hand to solder the power wires to the board its easy. So happy I didnt have to buy a new one, as much as I like em!
