Will they get notification I am trying to recall the message?

Umm the worst one i have done in the past fortnight is i was meant to send a mate a email slagging off his soccer team for losing on the weekend...

Instead i sent it to a analyst at GSJBW!

Luckily it turned out he was a soccer fan aswell!

Thats Funny

I did a similar one where I was having GF trouble and My mate messaged me and said how did it go? He knew we were getting together that night and was querying what happened.

As she had just left I text - I think we just broke up.

Funny part was that I sent it to her - she text me back - well I didnt think so but if thats what you want.

Now we are Married - so not a happy ending

A couple of months ago I forwarded an email to a tenant regarding their non-payment of account, which happened to be a back-forth conversation between some internal staff members.

I forgot to clear out the conversation before I forwarded the last response to them....towards the bottom of the email, it mentioned a few choice words about the tenant, including how much of a tight arse they were.

Lucky the tenant didn't read too far down the email!!

If they are sitting in front of it while the message comes in, and they are reading it as you try to recall it - Yes they will get a message saying it is trying to be recalled.

If they haven't looked at it all, then no - It just disappears and they are none the wiser. If you are an Admin, you can just connect into their mailbox and rip the message out, if it's only one or two people.

Keep in mind however, if your systems are in Sydney, there are privacy laws which make doing that illegal.

Only works if they are using exchange.

If you send it out to others who are on different mail systems (like your standard POP3 accounts), they get the original message and the recall message, with epic lulz ensuing

Helping a mate last week change over complete rear diff/axles in a shorty 40, unbolted all the leaf springs and shocks, dropped it on the ground, dragged it over. Went inside for a piss, came back out, forgot which one i dragged over. Grabbed the closest one put it back in.

Yeah put the same one back in. Idiot.
