So I sent an email to around 50 people today and my software attached additional info to what I was sending which was a major stuff up on my part as they should not have received it.

Help me feel better - what things have you done that was effectively an Epic Stuff up??

checked a steel shop drawing once when i was a junior drafty and marked up some coerrections on one certain beam, beam arrived on site.... all wrong due to my markup hahahhaha epic fail, i still hate checking bloody shop drawings to this day

In terms of Emails - I have accidentally sent Broadcasts with spelling errors and whatnot to 5000+ people in our business, not good.

Recall is your friend mate, just do it really quickly.

Also, accidentally shutting down fileservers thinking you logged off is NOT cool ..

People still get the original email when you recall it though. Everytime I see a recall email, I look deeper into the original

They only see if it they view it before it being recalled. For people who haven't viewed the Email, it disappears out of their mailbox like it never arrived.

I was looking for that feature but couldnt find it - sent an email saying an error had occured and please delete the previous email.

Sent Items, double click on the Email you sent, Other Actions --> Recall Message, and then you hope for the best.

texting a girl called Amy, telling her I liked her, asking her out for a drink etc text got sent to the person after Amy in my contacts list - Andy, 38, gay, single. Oops. I worked with him too. A few weeks later I pretty much did the same thing, accidently texting him at 3am when i was hammered. Bastard never replied.
